Feature Item - Graphic 45 and Color Box Dye Inks!

Hello,   I hope everyone is enjoying some holiday cheer

Today I have a page layout to share with everyone that uses the Graphic 45 Decades Line of Dye Inks

"Graphic 45's Decades inks are perfect for creating aged, vintage and distressed looks for paper craft projects.  Raised felt pads are acid-free, non-toxic and water-based."

They are the feature item at Scrapbookers Paradise For December 15 - 31.  They are regularly $6.99 but are now on sale for $5.50.  Please quote the code FIGI for your on line orders.

I used the Venetian Lace Ink for my page layout.  I started with walnut cream cardstock and applied the ink pad directly to the paper by swiping it using a craft sheet.  I really like the look it gave me:)  I also swiped the ink pad over the lace to give it the antiqued look as well as edged the pattern paper and flowers as well!  (I love Ink :)  If your fingers aren't messy you aren't having fun)

The last thing I inked was the crinkle bow.  The nice thing about water-based inks is you can dye anything.  To make the above bow you first need some seam binding ribbon (I used 7 gypsies seam binding ribbon above).  Then take your graphic 45 ink and swipe it over your craft sheet

Next spritz where you inked with water and dab your ribbon in and crumple as you go along.

Next dry the crumpled ribbon with a heat gun and tie bow and voila done.

Attach to pages, projects, cards and more.  This is my new favourite thing to do:)

If you like what I did with this ink you should pop over to my team mate Kim's blog to see what she did with this great product.

And don't forget to post a comment on the Paradise Pondering's blog for a chance to win an ink pad to try for yourself.
