So using this product, this is what I have to share today:).
It is my sons 7th Birthday today so I thought I would use that as inspiration! I was thinking this card would be great for any age and it has a good masculine feel to it while still technique packed!!
The main technique I focused on was the faux patina technique that was featured on splitcoast stampers!! I fell in love with it instantly!! while they used another companies inks, I went straight to my trusty distress inks and these are the ones I chose: Frayed Burlap, Faded Jeans, Bundled sage and of course my go to walnut stain!! I used them in that order as well.
The first thing I did was to coat the flat side of the Tim Holtz honeycomb folder with frayed Burlap then put put my cream colored cardstock in and ran it through my big shot!
The next thing I did once it was embossed was to apply the faded jeans ink with a foam pad and then followed the same procedure and added the bundled sage then the walnut stain!
For the finishing touches of this technique you lightly rub inked image with versa mark and apply a gold embossing powder and heat!
I then stuck all my pieces down using the 3L tape runner!
Also check out my blog mate Selena C to see what she did with this tape and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win some for FREE!!
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!
