Technique Tuesday - quick paper flowers

Happy Tuesday

Today I have a great way of making a quick and easy rolled paper flower!

On the weekend it was my friend Tamara's daughter (Ella) first Birthday!!  I always like to try and add a homemade element to all gifts weither it is homemade card or the gift:)  This is what I made!

It was alot of fun!  To see what I used for products please check out the Paradise Pondering blog!

This is how I made the rolled paper flowers.

The first thing I did was cut a circle.  I didn't worry about the shape so much:)

I then cut the circle into a spiral.

To roll the flower I used a Paper tool made by Imaginese.  Start at the outer edge and work your way to the center.

Then using glossy accents I glued it together

Thank you for stopping by and I hope this little tutorial was helpfull

Feature Product at Scrapbookers Paradise for April 16 - 30

Hello!!  The feature product at Scrapbookers Paradise from April 16 - 30 is the 1" Score tape!!  If you are ordering on-line please quote 'FIST'

I love score tape in general!  It is an amazing adhesive and I love that it comes in a HUGE variety of sizes!  For my project I love using this tape for the burnished velvet technique.

The first thing I did was to cover a piece of cardstock with the score tape

I then ran it through my big shot with the Tim Holtz Butterflight edge die.

The next thing I did was burnished it with Rose Copper and Celadon and cinnamon Glitter Ritz Micro Fine Glitter!

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment to win a roll of 1" score tape!!

Happy Friday!!

Hello!  It just dawned on me that I have not posted anything for a couple of weeks!  So here is a box I made for the paradise Ponderings Blog!

It is amazing what you can do with a $2.00 wooden box from Dollarama and some acrylic paint and patterned paper!!!

The next item I have to show is a mini album that I made for a class (I am teaching it tomorrow at the south store!).  I needed a place to keep some of my baby photos so this is what I came up with!!  There is also NO pattern paper in this,  it is all stamped!

On this last page,  there is actually 4 separate books in a little mini, mini album!

Thank you for stopping by!!
